About our Classes:
Charity Donation Flow
Karma yoga is the path of action. It is the intention woven within our actions, which perpetuate more actions and the ongoing state of our minds (also known as karma). When we act, we often do so with the underlying question, “How will this benefit me,” expecting results or appreciation of our efforts.
In this community class, we do the work and renounce the efforts as a spiritual offering to benefit others. 100% of proceeds from this community class will go to a selected charity each month (that’s four classes per cause). Although this is a pay-what-you-can class, we ask that you please make a $5 minimum donation to attend. If you’re curious about yoga or the Clarksburg community, this is the perfect time to come check us out!
Flow I/II By Candlelight
A vinyasa-inspired flow by candlelight is followed by deeply-held postures designed to help you fully release and let go of muscular tension. Class begins with a moderately-paced flow designed to open the whole body. The pace shifts slowly towards stillness in more restorative postures to allow the mind, body, and spirit to integrate the benefits of this rejuvenating practice.
Flow & Restore
Challenge the body, quiet the mind, and find ease all around in this balance between movement and stillness. Begin your practice with a vinyasa style flow that blends playful sequencing with longer, focused holds to build warmth. The second half of class we’ll move into restorative poses, using plenty of props to create highly supported shapes and deliciously long holds that invite gentile opening and deep relaxation.
Gentle Restorative Candlelight Yoga
In this class, you’ll move by candlelight and practice postures designed to help you build strength, as well as, release tension and let go. Class begins with a gentle Hatha practice, shifting slowly towards stillness in more restorative postures to allow the body, mind, and spirit to integrate the benefits of this rejuvenating practice. It’s the perfect way to get over the mid-week slump! This class is appropriate for beginners, as well as, seasoned practitioners.
More and more, the medical community is recognizing the benefits of yoga as a method to heal and live with chronic pain. Gentle yoga emphasizes a slow, steady, and comfortable practice, that uses postures to strengthen muscles, support joints, and create stronger bones. We explore the use of asanas (poses) to balance strength with flexibility–creating energy in the body. This class also incorporates pranayama (breathing techniques) to calm the nervous system and lessen anxiety.
Hatha Slow Flow & Restore
Hatha Slow Flow & Restore provides a relaxing way to enter the week with gentle sequences designed to move energy and release tension. Classes will explore proper pose alignment while allowing for a deep stretch of muscles and fascia. Drawing on researched benefits, special focus will be given to pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, and visualization to lower stress and blood pressure, and improve sleep patterns and immune function. Students will gain mobility, strength, flexibility, and improved mental focus. All levels of experience welcome!
Finding calm in a busy world can be as simple as taking a breath… and then another… Asanas (postures), mudras (hand gestures), and mantras (spoken affirmations) are combined to create a meditative practice. Turn off the chatter in the mind, clear mental clutter, and create a calm “inner space”. Suitable for anyone starting their yoga journey or deepening their current practice.

Restorative Yoga w/ Thai Massage & Aromatherapy
Embrace the power of healing touch through Restorative Yoga with Thai Massage and Aromatherapy. Thai yoga massage is an ancient form of therapeutic healing rooted in the belief that vital energy (Prana) flows through a series of “Sen” channels in the body, (also known as Qi or Meridians), which create disease and discomfort when blocked. Thai massage addresses imbalances in the physical, as well as, subtle/energetic body by combining acupressure, energy balancing, stretching, and yoga asanas. Restorative yoga allows practitioners to slowly open the body using props, blankets, and bolsters. This calming practice enhances flexibility and range of motion, soothes the nervous system while boosting immunity, encourages weight loss through the reduction of cortisol levels, and is a segue to a regular meditation practice. All levels of experience welcome!
Stretch & Release
This class offers a combination of gentle stretching, restorative yoga, mellow yin-style holds, and myofascial release. Ideal for runners, athletes, anyone who feels like their muscles are tight, and people looking to unwind from their day while increasing their flexibility and range of motion.
Viniyoga is a style of Hatha yoga that promotes the personalization of yoga practices to suit each individual yogi. In this class, you’ll learn to balance your body and mind through functional movement patterns, breathing techniques, and mindfulness. The tradition of Viniyoga offers a breath-centric approach to the postures and focuses on adapting the postures to achieve the desired intention of the practitioner. This class is safe and effective for all levels of practitioners, and adaptations will be provided so that each individual can benefit from their yoga practice in a way that truly serves them.
