Youth Yoga

We offer private and group classes for youth.  Sports teams, girl scout troops, home educators and anyone looking to add a yoga practice to their existing routine are encouraged to begin!

pre-teen girls one day retreat


Yoga for Teen athletes (co-ed)

Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 PM
Designed to compliment an athlete’s training, we’ll continue to explore an all levels yoga practice that includes poses designed to strengthen muscles, refine balance and increase flexibility. Class can be modified to the desire of each practitioner. We will also incorporate breathing techniques as well as final relaxation and a few moments of meditation and mindfulness.

Yog-irls: Empowering Pre-Teen girls through Yoga and mindfulness

Beginning April 23
$65 for 5 weeks
This empowering program allows pre-teen girls to explore a yoga and mindfulness practice while learning to support and trust eachother.  In this session pre-teen girls ages 9-12 will be guided through practices that build self-confidence, self-love, and respect for others.

Teen Yoga for Girls

Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 PM
$65 for 5 weeks.
The teens years are filled with constant change including physical growth, independence, responsibility, social expectations and mental maturity.  There is also the stress of doing well in school, fitting in with friends and finding confidence within ourselves which can be so overwhelming.  Yoga for teens is the perfect tool to help gain control of emotions and reactions and learn to love ourselves for who we are.
In this session teen girls ages 13-18 will be guided through a non-competitive practice that also incorporates the other limbs of yoga including self acceptance, non-judgment of ourselves and others and self care.

Tuesdays from 9:45-10:30 AM
New session begins May 15th!
$40 for 4 weeks for families with up to 2 children
Additional $5 per class for each additional child
Explore the adventure of a children’s story with yoga poses, creative movement, breathing, music and a small craft to tie it all together!

This 45-minute class will be based on a book or story, with stops along the way to act out the many characters, animals or adventures we read about. We will include savasana and a moment of meditation. We’ll then take 15 minutes at the conclusion of the story to work on a craft and tie the whole practice together!

Each child must have a guardian present.
